The non-profit association Arbeitsgemeinschaft selbstständiger Migranten eV, ASM for short, supports companies and start-ups
of people
with an immigration history. We offer them information and advice as well as services specifically tailored to the target group of migrants Qualification offers.
The association has also set itself the task of supporting migrant companies as Training companies
We advise them on career profiles according to the Vocational Training Act, on practical questions relating to training, and acquire training positions with them. In addition, we offer a qualification measure in preparation for the trainer aptitude test (AEVO)

ASM is also a contact point. We provide individual advice and place them in training companies in the retail and service sectors. We work closely together with our cooperation partners. Hamburg Chamber of Commerce

We often produce publications in multiple languages or in plain language. We also provide information about the commitment and economic performance of migrant businesses through publications and exhibitions.
Founded in 2007 by entrepreneurs with an immigrant background in the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the association works primarily on the basis of publicly funded projects. The association's non-profit work to strengthen dual training is supported by the
Nader Etmenan Foundation
and the Kurt & Maria Dohle Foundation.
In 2008, entrepreneurs with a migration background founded the
Hamburg Foundation for Migrants.
