Recognized & Competent – new skilled workers for companies


The project “Recognized & Competent – new skilled workers for companies” in the nationwide Funding program IQ - Integration through qualification is aimed at people with foreign vocational training who are Chamber of Commerce and Industry FOSA was found to be partially equivalent.

The skilled workers are supported in achieving full equivalence of their qualifications. To this end, project staff seek suitable qualifications for the participants. These can include internships in companies or courses at educational institutions.


The project also targets people of foreign origin without certified training, but with extensive professional experience and non-formal and informal skills acquired. They are supported on their path to becoming recognized specialists and are connected to skills assessment programs. Companies are recruited as partners for the participants' practical work and prepared to provide the missing qualifications/skills.

The IQ funding program - IIntegration through qualification aims to sustainably improve the labor market integration of adults with a migration background. The project "Recognized & Competent - New Skilled Workers for Companies" is funded within the framework of the IQ -Integration through qualification by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Union on the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus) promoted and by Federal Office for Migration and Refugees Partners in the implementation are Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Employment Agency.
